Attendance Monitor
VeriCool Multi-Lesson registration gives teaching staff all the information that they require in class, but does not give the administration staff that same information. After all, it was designed as a registration solution, not an administration tool. As a consequence, we have developed VeriCool Attendance Monitor, a new, dynamic attendance monitoring solution for SIMS .net schools administration staff.
Attendance Monitor gives relevant staff the ability to view and administer lesson attendance data. This new module enables a school administrator to input, view and extract student timetable data from SIMS .net in conjunction with our own sequel server database. This, in turn, provides a comprehensive solution for both statutory and non-statutory attendance data.
This latest enhancement to the VeriCool suite of software make administering pupil data by AM/PM and lesson attendance easy and effective and reduces the work load placed upon the administration department. Some of the key benefits are listed below.
- Preview, amend and forward fill any combination of form or period registration data - Administration staff can now view and amend all attendance data. The software also enables staff to mark known absences for forth coming dates such as holidays.
- View comments input by teaching staff on students' attendance - A two way electronic link enables both teaching and administration staff to input comments on the system, such as late attendance, authorised absence and when students are expected to return to school.
- View all historical and future attendance data on specific individuals - Attendance Monitor offers the administration department complete flexibility to view all previous attendance data using a number of search criteria. You can view data from as far back as the beginning of the academic year and this can greatly assist when trying to view patterns on attendance.
- Produce detailed attendance reports - Instantly view a student's lesson and period attendance marks, comments and minutes late by AM/PM, Lesson, Date, member of staff, gender, subject, year group and individual.
