VeriCool for Schools is a suite of software designed to offer the most cost-effective and beneficial way of moving schools from a manual or card-based registration or cashless catering process.

We have designed VeriCool to use fingertip verification as the key identifier to simplify these tasks, although for schools preferring not to use biometric data, we can offer both PIN and barcode alternatives. In biometric mode, when entering the classroom or canteen, the student places their enrolled finger on the digital fingertip scanner and VeriCool verifies the student's identity in less than one second. The VeriCool suite of software eliminates swipe cards and protects students' identity with a unique digital signature which is securely encrypted and stored on a dedicated school server. The software also recognises the teachers' classes for any given day, at any given time - including the students in those classes. In addition, VeriCool's first day contact software can notify parents of absent students within minutes of registration being completed.

We continually strive to refine and develop our software and we are pleased to announce the following new Modules which are now available:

VeriCool Multi-Lesson - Our new format class registration module will ensure that you and your teaching staff can, at a glance, identify absentees from that day or any period during the academic year using our robust and ultra reliable fingertip verification software. This represents a huge step forward in the development of our VeriCool attendance software and one which offers our users, both existing and new, a cost-effective, multi-lesson Registration solution for your school.

VeriCool School Reception - To enhance our biometric lesson registration software we have developed VeriCool Reception, an automated, electronic solution that replaces not only the paper late book but also the need for visitors to sign in at your school reception.

A stand-alone, touch screen terminal is situated at the school reception. This unit provides the ability for students to both sign in late and to sign out, using our proven fingertip verification software. However, we have also designed an electronic solution for recording the arrival of visitors to your school.

Attendance Monitor - In conjunction with our multi-lesson registration software, this module enables staff to view all historical attendance data by student, subject, period, teacher, gender, year group etc and produces statistical information.

Cashless Catering - We have added over 70 functional changes to our cashless catering software to both assist students when purchasing, and staff when administering the software.

Enrolment - Many of our schools have reported the administration strain placed upon their staff when they have to enrol New Year 7 students at the beginning of September term. This prompted us to develop a pre-enrolment solution for year 6 students who visit your school on an inset day in July.
